On today's episode, we're speaking with Nancy Vogel from Family on Bikes. Nancy started traveling 30 years ago as a peaceful volunteer in Honduras. Since then, she has backpacked around South America, spent years teaching on the Navajo Nation, as well as several stints in Ethiopia, Taiwan and Malaysia. Nancy is best known for her 4 years of travel on bicycle with her husband and their twin sons, where they cycled as a family from Alaska to Argentina, pedaling over 27,000 miles. Today the Vogels are living in Idaho and their boys are getting ready to head off to college. Listen in to hear how Nancy reflect on their nomadic days and talks about what life is like after this kind of traveling winds down.
